About the Role
Technical Bidding Specialist (1+ Year Experience)
You'll identify, evaluate, and win software development projects on Upwork while working closely with our senior engineering team. This isn't about sending generic proposals or chasing every job post. We care about thoughtful communication, technical understanding, and the ability to qualify opportunities that are the right fit for our team.

What You'll Do
Analyze technical project briefs to evaluate technical feasibility, scope, and client fit.
Write tailored technical proposals based on client requirements.
Bid on software development projects through Upwork and secondary platforms.
Handle initial client responses and ask technical discovery questions to clarify project scope.
Translate client requirements into clear acceptance criteria and relevant project milestones.
Match and present relevant technical case studies and live demos to prospective clients.
Maintain a steady proposal pipeline and track lead status and response metrics.
What We're Looking For
At least 1+ year of hands-on Technical Bidding experience for software development agencies or IT services.
Ability to read, comprehend, and break down technical project briefs (AI and custom web applications).
Verifiable experience bidding on, qualifying, and closing software development projects on Upwork.
Ability to translate client requirements into clear acceptance criteria, concise technical discovery questions, and relevant milestones.
Strong written English with the ability to write bespoke, non-generic proposals.
Nice to Have
Background in software engineering, technical writing, or project scoping.
Experience with secondary lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn, Clutch, Freelancer, or Guru.e
